We will celebrate the Spirit as we meet under our convention theme, “Live by the Spirit,” from Galatians 5:16. It is our prayer that the convention will refresh and renew your faith and, by God’s grace, bring you closer to Him.
Guest speaker Pat Day, one of the most accomplished horse jockeys in North American history, did not live by the Spirit early in his career. Despite his success as a jockey, he turned to a self-destructive pattern of alcohol and cocaine. His life was spinning out of control when he heard the Gospel message and realized his need for the Savior. Day will share how God has blessed him throughout his life and his career as a jockey. He will share how the Holy Spirit can work through imperfect people.
You will also be uplifted by events such as The Lutheran Hour Rally, devotions, worship services, and outreach training workshops.
